This Mourvèdre has a beautiful intense red color with purple hues. The first impression is very fruity with scents of strawberries, peach and berries. This is followed by impressions of forest floor, marzipan, honey, lavender, thyme and laurel. This wine is surprisingly long and fat. Nice balance and fine tannins. The very juicy and slightly spicy aftertaste leaves a soft, velvety impression. Character for sale!
Tajine with lamb, pepper steak, game, Moussaka and definitely try some goat cheese.
