The Cornut family can look back on a rich and long history in the wine world that spans 9 generations. Numa himself developed his winemaking skills in various regions around the world. Bordeaux, Châteauneuf du Pape, Australia, Switzerland and together with his twin brother he also manages the family estate in Costières de Nîmes, Château Guiot. As a passionate Burgundy lover, his dream was to produce high-quality wines in the most renowned wine region of France. In 2010 he first started there as a wine consultant and met a young winemaker. The friendship was long-lived and developed into a joint venture where he is allowed to ferment and bottle his 3.5 hectare vineyards there on the estate. The small editions and patiently produced wines ensure top quality and his name and fame in the region were soon assured. His wines are true pearls and embody purity and elegance. In the field, minimal intervention takes place with great respect for sustainable and ecologically responsible viticulture. An absolute must for every convinced Burgundy lover!
