The palate is lush and rich with flavors of plums, black cherries, and strawberries accompanied by soft spices and a light toasted touch. Deliciously flavorful finish.

climate

In Lodi, it is warm and dry during the daytime in summer with significant cooling at night. In Paso Robles, there is a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters.

soil

Grapes from Lodi make up 90%, while those from Paso Robles make up 10%. In Lodi, the soil consists of deep sandy grounds, requiring the roots to search deep for water. In Paso Robles, the soil contains more limestone and pebbles.

vinification

85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. The wine undergoes separate fermentation at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is blended and aged in 15% new American and French oak barrels for one year, while the remainder goes into neutral older barrels. After nine months, the wine is blended again and bottled.
